Puck KGS Swiss Diamond® discs are far more efficient than typical rectangular diamond stones as they may be infinitely rotated to use entire diamond surface when fastened to any file guide with a spring clamp. No longer any need to angle the stone relative to the length of the edge producing uneven wear in the diamond surface, now even novice tuners are able to consistently achieve perfectly sharp and smooth edges.
The complete Puck KGS Swiss Diamond® set providing a nice progression from coarse to fine grit for a smooth mirror finish. Premium Swiss-made diamond sheet mounted on exceptionally flat precision die-cast aluminum backer. Included in the set: 1) Puck Swiss diamond disc 100 grit x-coarse may be used in place of a smooth (fine) finishing file. Perfect de-burring disc for removing case hardening from edges caused by hitting rocks or grinding machines and ideal for de-tuning shovel and tail; 2) Puck Swiss diamond disc 200 grit coarse, the perfect maintenance and de-burring stone for sharp, smooth edges. Typically used as a second stone in progression from x-coarse to x-fine grit; 3) Puck Swiss diamond disc 400 grit medium, the perfect all-round maintenance and polishing stone for sharp, smooth edges. Typically used as the third stone in progression from x-coarse to x-fine grit; 4) Puck Swiss diamond disc 800 grit fine, the perfect first stone for final polishing after edge bevel and sharpness have been established. Typically used as the forth stone in progression from x-coarse to x-fine grit; and 5) Puck Swiss diamond disc 1500 grit x-fine, the perfect stone for establishing a mirror finish and ultimate edge smoothness through final polishing. Exactly the full diameter of the diamond surface contacts the ski or snowboard edge when Puck is aligned with the + symbols on any Tools4Boards Switch tool for optimal cutting and polishing efficiency. Puck may be hand-held, or quickly fastened to any file guide using a spring clamp and infinitely rotated to use the entire diamond surface. Puck is far easier to use than typical rectangular diamond stones as there is no need to angle the stone relative to the length of the edge.
