• Introducing Rolling Pin, the revolutionary new way to sharpen ski and snowboard edges. Simply roll back and forth to flatten the edge quickly and evenly, then slide back and forth to remove burrs, slight edge rounding and smooth the cutting edge for amazing sharpness.
• Five angled pins provide simple and accurate bevel angles: 7° pin sands the plastic sidewall to expose more metal edge for grinding. Then, depending on preference 1°, 2°, 3° or 4° (89°, 88°, 87° or 86°) pin is used to sharpen the metal edge.
• Puck RP single or Puck RP Duo double-sided abrasive discs are screwed onto pin and easily interchanged. Abrasive options include KGS Swiss Diamond® 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 and Norton Blaze® Ceramic 120 grit.
• No need to file. Filing the side edge tends to remove more edge than necessary and creates a curl or burr on the opposite edge (base edge) that must be removed. Grinding with Rolling Pin minimizes the amount of edge removed and avoids this curl.
• Ski or snowboard is conveniently positioned horizontally for both edge sharpening and waxing. Swarf falls away and is not ground into the base, and hands are positioned safely away from the sharp edges.
Rolling Pin takes a circular approach to sustainability. The circular way the tool grinds the edge prolongs the life of the abrasives for reuse far beyond what is typical with fixed abrasive tools. Peel and stick abrasives are easily removed and replaced when worn to repair the pucks and reduce the waste created, and its aluminum components are not only durable and lightweight, but also easily disassembled and fully recyclable at the end of useful life.
